Record Copying
|
|
Copies of documents can be provided in various forms, this will depend on how they are preserved. Some are in their original paper format while others have been transferred to microfilm or microfiche.
Documents can either be reproduced as paper copies or digital images, the latter can be sent via the internet or if this proves difficult because of the size, they can be burnt on to a CD.
For the best quality copies, some clients may wish to use The National Archives Record Copying Service, which has more sophisticated reproduction technology than an independent researcher.
If you do decide to use The National Archives Record Copying Service, then I will provide full document references and page numbers etc. so that you do not waste money buying irrelevant, duplicate or blank pages.
